The rules of the house.

• Play as much as you like, for free, for your own enjoyment.
• Be decent to the people at your table.
• Your saved games live in your browser: keep a copy if they matter to you.
• The site comes as it is, and it can change.

You may play every title on the site, alone or with others, for free and without an account, for your own personal and non-commercial enjoyment. You may stop at any time; there is nothing to cancel. Please don’t try to break the site, overload it, or use it in a way that spoils it for others.

The maker may add, change or remove games and features, and may take the site or parts of it offline, at any time and without notice.

At a table other people join, what you write in the table talk is seen by everyone at that table. Don’t use it to harass, threaten or deceive anyone, to send spam, or to share anything unlawful. Anyone can leave a table at any moment.

Tables are temporary: a room is forgotten when its last player leaves or after an hour of silence, and a game in progress can be interrupted if the connection or the relay goes down.

Your saved games, replays and record are yours, and they live only in your browser. My Board gives you a copy as a file. If the browser’s data is cleared, they are gone, and nobody can bring them back, because no other copy exists.

The classic games on the shelf — chess, go, backgammon and the others — belong to everyone, and nobody owns their rules. Everything made for this site belongs to its maker: the original games and their rules, the texts, the key art, the code and the look of the site. You are welcome to share links, screenshots and clips of your games; please don’t copy the site, its games or its art to publish them elsewhere.

The site is offered free and as it is, without any guarantee that it will always be available, work without errors, or keep your saved games. As far as the law allows, the maker is not liable for any loss that comes from using it, including lost games or progress. None of this limits the rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country you live in.

These terms are governed by Italian law. If you use the site as a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country you live in.
